Sand & Sea: From the Desert to the Celts

  • April 16, 2010
  • April 17, 2010
  • St. John's Episcopal Church, Boulder, CO

The workshop explores the wit and wisdom of the Desert Mothers and Fathers which flowered in later Celtic spirituality. On Friday evening we explore major themes common to both traditions and their relevance to our lives today such as solitude, holy ordiariness, and swimming against the current. On Sat. we penetrate these themes more deeply through poetry, writing exercises, and dialogue with one another.
