Equipping people to be free, connected and engaged by building the capacity for companionship to create a compassionate world.
Come join us for a weekend with John Philip Newell, poet, peacemaker and scholar. John Philip teaches and preaches internationally on themes related to the sacredness of the earth and the oneness of the human soul. He is one of the most prominent teachers of spirituality in the English-speaking world and we are honored to have you join us for a weekend of renewal, study and reflection at the historic St Andrews Episcopal Church in downtown Denver.
Friday, May 15, 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
John Philip will be speaking from his most recent book “The Rebirthing of God. Christianity’s Struggles for New Beginnings”. He speaks directly to the heart of Christians—those within the well-defined bounds of Christian practice and those on the disenchanted edges—as well as to the faithful and seekers of other traditions. Following the lecture there will be a book signing (with books available for purchase) and small reception. Space is limited to only 150 people, so we encourage you to purchase tickets as early as possible. Doors open at 6:00pm.
Saturday, May 16, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
John Philip will host a workshop, allowing participants to settle deeper into a study of Rebirthing of Christianity. In this three-hour workshop, we will explore the eight major features of a new birthing of Christianity, as well as focused time on meditation, reflection and prayer. Space is limited to only 50 people for this very special workshop. At noon, we'll share a light lunch and then have an hour of prayer and meditation.
Friday Night Lecture - $25
Saturday Workshop - $75
