Mine the Gems of Irish Spiritual Tradition

You don’t have to go to Ireland’s famous Dingle Peninsula to get up to date on the latest digs. Micheal Collins, one of Ireland’s premier archaeologists, featured in Rick Steves videos, will come to Denver for a Celtic Discovery Weekend Nov. 5-6, at Calvary Baptist Church, 6500 E. Girard, east Hampden and south Monaco.

Collins will discuss eco-spirituality and reveal recent discoveries that can benefit our environment. A speaker of Gaelic, he’ll show how landscape and language intersect and how the Irish language encourages poetry. The weekend concludes with the regular 5 pm worship service at The Threshold, in Calvary’s chapel.
