The Ancient Art of Spiritual Direction in the Transformation of the Church in the 21st Century with The Rev. Michelle A. Danson

Wednesday, November 18, 2009, 4–6:15 p.m. (3:30–4 p.m. check-in, fellowship and refreshments. Cost: $15 to $35, as you are able.)

Topic  Are you meeting people who are confused and unsettled by the rapid changes we are encountering in the 21st Century? Do you find that you are encountering people who are struggling with the role of the church in their life? Do you find yourself increasingly directing people who describe themselves as “Spiritual and not Religious”? If the answer to any of these questions is “yes,” then this workshop is for you! Michelle will integrate her study of Quantum Physics with years of Spiritual Formation to lead us through a paradigm shift that will show us how the Ancient Art of Spiritual Direction is an essential and integral piece of the Emerging Church .

Presenter  Michelle works as a supply priest, has a private practice of spiritual direction called “Living Well,” and is a facilitator and presenter with the Benedictine Spiritual Formation Program, based at Benet Hills Monastery, Colorado Springs. She is widowed and remarried, the mother of four adult children and lives near Boulder, Colorado.
